those first harried months of a church’s beginning, where we are going to be putting in a ridiculous number of hours in positively erratic ways. But we must come to those seasons cognizant of the fact that such seasons need to be the exception rather than the rule. Church planting is a marathon, not a sprint. If we want to still be in ministry ten, twenty, fifty years from now, we need to learn to run at a pace that is sustainable. .
